PAUL'S IS NOT FAST FOOD. IT'S FAMILY FOOD, FAST.

It started with Paul, a second-generation fryer, a second-hand range, and his mum's batter recipe scribbled on a flour bag. 27 years later, paulsfishandchickenbar.com is the neighbourhood's living room — school kids after class, taxi drivers at midnight, families on Friday.

We cut potatoes every morning. We batter cod to order — never kept under heat lamps. Our chicken is brined 24 hours in buttermilk, paprika and secret herbs, then pressure-fried for that shattering crust and juicy middle.
